Condoms

There is a supply of free condoms and lubricant in the IT room in the basement of Jowett Walk. If these run out, please use the slips provided to request more, and one of the Welfare Reps will replenish supplies (you can also email the Welfare Reps).

Pregnancy tests

If you need a pregnancy test, free of charge and confidentially, please contact one of the Welfare Reps, who can leave one in your pigeon hole.

If you are pregnant and need advice, you are welcome to talk to any of the College Welfare officers, or to contact one of the groups below.

In Oxford

GUM clinic

There is a GUM (genito-urinary medicine) clinic held at the Churchill Hospital in Headington. Consultations are entirely confidential, need no referral from your GP and are free of charge. They can offer a wide range of tests, advice and treatment. You can either make an appointment in advance, or just turn up to one of their drop-in clinics, Monday-Friday, 12.15-3.15pm.

They run a support centre, called sPACe, at 40 Pembroke Street, open Tuesday 10am-5pm and Wednesday 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Drop in, or ring the mobile number below to make an appointment.

The Alec Turnbull centre

This is the NHS Family Planning Clinic for Oxford, located in Cowley, and open 9.30am-7pm Monday to Thursday, 9.30am – 4pm on Friday and 10.30am-1pm on Saturday.
