Dear MCR,

It is my pleasure to invite you to myPresident’s Farewell Black Tie Dinner. It will be held in the Savile Room on Friday, 22 February 2013. Pre-dinner drinks will be held in the MCR from 6.45pm. Dinner will be at 7.15 in the Saville Room followed by second desserts in the MCR.

 The menu will be:

  • Bread, oil & vinegar
  • Oak Smoked Trout Pate
  • Roast Duck Breast with Cherry Brandy Sauce & Pecan Wild Rice
  • Dessert – TBA
  • Coffee or Tea and Chocolate

 

The vegetarian menu will be:

  • Bread, oil & vinegar
  • Maple marinated Mushrooms, Walnuts & Edamame
  • Broccoli & Gorgonzola Puff Pie, Tomato Olive Sauce
  • Dessert – TBA
  • Coffee or Tea and Chocolate

They are 68 spots available and the price is £25. You can bring one guest. Fill in the on-line form (sent to you via email) before Friday 1 February (5pm) if you would like to attend. I will then send you more information about payment modalities next Saturday. If the dinner is oversubscribed, I will hold a ballot and create a waiting list.
