OUSU Representative

Hello everyone, I am the MCR’s representative to the Oxford University Student Union (OUSU).
I attend OUSU Council for the MCR and act as the liaison between OUSU and the MCR’s members.
OUSU offers a range of welfare and society/common room support services to graduates as well as representing us all to the University and to academic departments. I have been personally involved in a number of OUSU initiatives to improve its engagement with the graduate student body and to rejuvenate graduate academic representation across the University’s departments. Through these I have seen the potential benefits that that the student union can offer students as well as the number of exciting opportunities there are to get involved.
The academic representation work occurring at the moment is particularly exciting and OUSU is always looking for people to take part in this work.
